Dumpster diving

I was inspired this morning about the dumpster diving talk. So I went to the dumpster behind the convenience store across the street early this morning and salvaged the following;

8 bunches of green bananas still in the plastic
16 various day old pastries - ditto on the plastic
2 strawberry short cakes
1 chef salad
11 hogie sandwiches
1 microwaveable baked potato
2 micro wave sandwiches
1 snack salad
2 PBJ sandwiches

All of these items were in a box so I didn’t need to find a way to carry them. They are day old and still packaged in their hard plastic containers.
I continue to be amazed by the wastefulness of people around the world. I plan to hit a few more dumpsters around town and on the army base today.
